Education
On Geoje Island there are three schools providing an international education up to middle school: AIS (ex ISK), BIA and HCIS. AIS offers the IPC curriculum and BIA offers the IB curriculum. BIA also offers the CNED curriculum to French-speaking students. HCIS offer the Australian Curriculum certified by SACE.
There are also other kindergartens in which English is the main teaching language and a non-Korean curriculum/standard is used (e.g: GIKA in Gohyeon uses IPC).
Some other local kindergartens teach a couple of classes using English language. Most of them also have native speaker teachers.
For higher school years and other schooling options, there are also International schools outside Geoje.

AIS is an accredited and well resourced primary and secondary international school for children aged 2-16. Students follow the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) in the Early Years, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in the Primary Years, the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) in the Middle Years and the International General Certificates of Education (IGCSEs) in the Higher Years. The IEYC, IPC, IMYC, IGCSE are international, rigorous and modern educational curriculums.

> HCIS (Hillside Collegiate IS) – Jisepo
Hillside Collegiate IS (HCIS) serves a community of up to 300 students and 30 nationalities from Pre-Kindergarten through to Grade 12. HCIS students are taught using the Australian Curriculum. This will be delivered through SACE International which provides, a globally recognised Early Years to Senior high school and pre-university qualification. SACE and the qualifications are managed by the SACE Board of South Australia (An Australia Government Department).

HABA is an English Kindergarten and after school program, based in Junggok catering for children aged 2 to 10 (international age). The school programs includes art, ballet, gym, as well as Haba and Mensa gameplay. The kindergarten aims to develop English speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
